Lavender Martini - How to Make a Lavender Martini with Culinary Lavender

 

A fragrant combination of vanilla vodka and lavender,

               like a glass of aromatherapy

 

                                                  

 

Ingredients

 Ice

1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka

1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice

1/4 ounce Lavender Syrup

1 fresh lavender sprig                                                                                                                  

Try making infused vodka in advance to add a extra kick.  Replace the vanilla vodka with the infused vodka

 

Directions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Vanilla vodka,  I used Smirnoff's. 

lemon juice and Lavender Syrup  recipe for Lavender Syrup     

and shake well.

Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the lavender sprig.

I also used some purple/blue sugar to rim the glass and added a drop of food colour before shaking.
