Simple Lavender Syrup

Ingredients


3 Tablespoons dried Culinary  Lavender buds
2 cups of Water
2 cups of Sugar

Directions

Put the water in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to boil.

Add the sugar to the boiling water and stir together until the sugar in completely dissolved.

Turn off the heat and add the Lavender buds.

Allow the syrup to steep infusing all the  Lavender scent and flavor.

Strain syrup to remove  Lavender buds

when cool, pour into a glass container or bottle that has a lid.

Store in refrigerator

will keep for 1 months when refrigerated

You can add a drop of purple food colouring to add a nice colour to the syrup.
