Our Home on the Range Cookout & Pottery Experience brings together some of Haldimand County's finest local talent for an unforgettable night on the farm. Enjoy a western-inspired cookout prepared by renowned local chef Debb Davies of DEBB'S Cuisine on Queen, relax to live music by Chad Brown, and create a one-of-a-kind stoneware mug or whiskey tumbler with Lacie of Creative Barracks Arts Studio.
Whether you're gathering with friends, planning a date night, or looking for a unique experience, this special evening promises great food, creativity, music, and memories beneath the country sky.

For this special event, Debb has created a hearty cowboy cookout menu that perfectly complements an evening at Purple Haven.

Purple Haven Lavender Ice Cream
Made on the farm using our own lavender, this creamy signature dessert offers a delicate floral finish that guests return for again and again. Paired with warm apple crisp, it's the perfect ending to a country cookout.
Coffee and warm apple cider will also be served.
Live Music by Chad Brown
As you enjoy dinner, local performer Chad Brown will provide the soundtrack for the evening with live music that perfectly complements the relaxed country atmosphere of Purple Haven.
Pottery Experience with Creative Barracks Arts Studio
Following dinner, guests will participate in a hands-on pottery workshop led by Lacie of Creative Barracks Arts Studio.
Whether you sip whiskey, wine, tea, or coffee, guests will handcraft their own stoneware tumbler, mug, or cup with friendly step-by-step instruction, finishing each masterpiece in colours and textures of their choice.
Inspired by rustic artisan pottery, each piece will be completely unique. No previous pottery experience is necessary, and all tools and materials are provided.
Stoneware creations will be professionally fired and glazed at the studio in Dunnville and delivered approximately two weeks following the event.
