Lavender Feta Cheese Tomato and Basil Pizza

Lavender Pizza

No more need for take out, this crispy, fluffy, juicy and absolutely delicious artisan pizza, is full of mouth-watering flavours.  We are sure it will become your new favorite!


Dough   premade or homemade dough see our recipe

Purple Haven Marinara Sauce or  plan sauce with a 1Tablespoon of Lavender Pizza seasoning blend

Lavender Pizza seasoning blend

200g mozzarella, grated (7 ounces)

300g feta cheese, crumbled (10 ounces)

handful of fresh basil

1 small red onion, sliced thin

12 small  cherry tomatoes, chopped  we use grape tomatoes

Culinary Lavender 

go a head and add other items such as

black olives, without pits  and green pepper diced


Ingredients for Pizza Dough Crust

1 cup warm water

1 package yeast or 2 1/4 teaspoons

1 teaspoon salt

2-3 cups flour

1 tablespoon  Lavender Pizza seasoning blend


Combine yeast and warm water. Let sit for 1 minute.

Add salt and flour and mix.

Knead until elastic or with a kitchen aid until dough pulls away from sides of bowl.

Let rest 15-30 minutes in a warm draft free location.

Take the dough out of the bowl knead for a while adding in the Lavender Pizza Seasoning

Start with your pizza dough in a ball.  On a lightly floured surface, start working the dough with your hands and using a rolling pin stretch out the ball on a floured surface, and shape into a thin round shaped  trying to maintain the shape of your pan.  Work from the center of your dough to the outside to keep your thickness even.  Make sure to rotate your dough often to keep it from sticking to the surface you’re working on.

Move  prepared dough on to your pan


Preheat the oven to 180C.

Smear the marinara sauce over the base of the pizzas and spread with a spoon.   Add as much or as little as you like but make sure to cover the dough

If you are making your own sauce add 1 Tablespoon of lavender pizza seasoning or  culinary lavender

Grate the mozzarella on top and scatter the sliced tomato, the onions,  the basil, the peppers , the olives  and top off with the  feta cheese.

Bake pizza for 15-20 minutes, until golden and crispy.



For an extra touch

Top with more  crumbled feta cheese,  fresh basil and more  olives  and chopped tomatoes.

Adding raw ingredients on top of this feta cheese pizza, will give a unique and more earthly flavour.

Drizzle with olive oil  or better yet with lavender infused olive oil and add a good pinch of our seasoning mix or ground lavender.
